Frequently Asked Questions

I have an idea for a project, how do we get started?

Our team are always happy to dicuss your new project with you. However, before we can start on your project, we need a few things to be provided by you in order to give you an accurate quote:

  1. A full scope of the project - A full description of what the project's end goal is and the main features required. For example, we may ask what pages you require for your company website and if you can provide additional content required to build these pages.
    Please gather as much information together for the project before reaching out to us, as this will ensure a smoother communication structure.
  2. Colour pallet and fonts to be used in the user interface - We normally recommend 4 colours, consisting of a primary colour for highlighting and two additional colours to be used to seperate page structure. The final colour is normally reserved for the text colour. We can discuss this more in detail with you and suggest a colour pallet from this discussion.
  3. Logo(s) and graphics - If you don't currently have a logo, we can create one for you. We also require high quality imagery to be used within the project. These will be requested throughout the project and you will need to make provisions to gather these images. An external service can be employed to gather these images at an extra cost.
  4. Socials - We may request links to any social platforms you currently have as part of the business or project in question. If these are not available, they can be created for you using the agreed colour pallet for an extra fee.

Once you have gathered all of the above mentioned materials, please contact us and we will provide an email address for you to send the resources to. We will then send you a quote and, once accepted, we will start work and deliver to the agreed timescale.

How can I access webmail?

You can access our webmail interface by navigating your browser to your website's domain name and adding "/webmail" at the end.

From there, you will be presented with a login screen. You will need to enter your full email address and password for this account in order to gain access.

I'm going on annual leave, how do I set up an autoresponder?

Autoresponders are a great way to keep your customer's in the loop when you are away from the office.

My service is offline or has an error, what do I do?

Please login to your control panel and click on the "Contact Us" button on the dashboard. You will be given options to contact our support staff and one of the team will look into the issue within minutes.

Please note that marking an issue as "critical" is reserved for non-responsive services, such as your business email not working, and improper use of this option will not be tolerated.

Can I pay by bank transfer, cheque, cash or card?

We accept both bank transfer (BACS) and debit/credit card payment for our hosted services. We only currently accept bank transfer for custom development projects, due to the additional transaction fees with card processing suppliers.

We do not accept cheques or cash for any of our services.

My service is showing as "suspended", what has happened?

There are a couple of reasons why your service would be suspended. Our billing system will automatically suspend any services with overdue invoices still outstanding. Please make sure to pay all of your invoices by the due date shown on the invoice to avoid automatic suspension.

If all of your invoices are up-to-date, your service may have been suspended because it violates our Terms of Service. A member of staff will have been in contact with you to discuss this with you, but if you wish to discuss this further, please contact us from your control panel dashboard.

How do I order new hosting servces?
